The Prize is provided from the income of a Fund raised by public subscription to perpetuate the memory of the late Right Honourable Sir Samuel Thomas Evans PC GCB LLD (1859-1919), and transferred to the University of Wales to be administered under a deed of trust dated 2 February, 1923.
Eligibility
- Candidate for Honours in Law at a Welsh University
- Candidate who, in the opinion of the external examiner, has attained the highest standard in the honours examination
Additional Information
- The Scholarship will be of the value of approximately £2,000, subject to available funds
- In the case of the equality of two candidates of adequate merit, the Prize may be divided.
